Hong Kong Affordable Art Fair 2026

14 - 17 May 2026
Overview

E.N. Gallery returns to the Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong for its second consecutive year, taking place from 14–17 May 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

For its 2026 presentation, the gallery brings together six Korean artists—Jo Eun a, Kim Pearl, Lim Seung Hyun, Kim Seung Yun, Joyce Jinn, and Kyenam—whose works offer nuanced reflections on contemporary life, memory, and the quiet beauty of everyday experience.

Jo Eun a continues her evocative Sweet Landscape series, merging desserts and imagined terrains to explore comfort and emotional escape. Her meticulously layered panels, combining traditional Korean papers, clay, and semi-waterproof coatings, support delicate ink, mineral pigments, and acrylics, creating whimsical landscapes where sweets, plants, and architectural elements coexist. These dreamlike worlds invite viewers to pause and experience a moment of gentle, restorative reflection.

Kim Pearl transforms traditional Korean ink techniques into lively, tactile explorations of parenthood, memory, and everyday wonder. Drawing from her life as a mother, she integrates brushes, hands, chopsticks, and unconventional tools to produce textured, fairy-tale-like imagery that captures both the joys and emotional depth of familial bonds. Her work resonates with warmth, offering a glimpse into childhood perceptions and the shared growth between parent and child.

Lim Seung Hyun presents tender, storybook-like vignettes of daily life, evoking small pauses amid a fast-paced world. His minimal, narrative-driven compositions reflect familiar moments—a gardener tending plants, a springtime stroll, a quiet car ride—imbued with empathy and gentle reassurance. Through his work, Lim encourages viewers to reconnect with memory, serenity, and the understated beauty of ordinary experiences.

Kim Seung Yun draws inspiration from the natural world, capturing fleeting, luminous moments in forests, moonlit nights, and early morning landscapes. By incorporating real leaves as stamps and layering paint with care, he creates contemplative spaces that invite reflection and stillness. His art embodies a prayerful attention to detail and a desire to bring warmth, serenity, and mindful observation into daily life.

Joyce Jinn explores childhood curiosity and discovery, portraying children encountering the small wonders of the everyday world. Her works invite viewers to see through a child’s eyes, reawakening the fragile magic of observation and the joy of questioning. Through this perspective, her paintings encourage adults to pause, notice, and marvel at life’s subtle mysteries.

Kyenam captures the harmony between nature and the inner self, inspired by her travels through Latin America and a decade of design experience. Her layered acrylic landscapes evoke serene, meditative spaces, with the symbolic llama serving as a spiritual guide between humanity and the natural world. Through these works, Kyenam offers moments of quiet introspection, encouraging viewers to connect with both the environment and their own inner rhythms.

Together, these six artists create an immersive environment where observation, reflection, and emotional resonance converge. E.N. Gallery invites visitors to pause, engage, and discover the subtle narratives and quiet wonders embedded in contemporary life.
